CL Inspections include light vehicles up to and including 4.5 tonne gross vehicle mass (GVM) that are used or planning to be used, to provide personalized transport services including booked hire, booked hire rental, taxi, limousine and special purpose limousine.
Changes in regulations came in to effect from Monday 4th September 2017 for all CL class vehicles.
With the increase in the number of vehicles requiring an annual COI, the Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) has approved Mobile roadworthy to conduct COIs for light personalized transport vehicles.
currently registered school service vehicles, tourist and airport transfer vehicles and commercial minibuses are Ineligible for service but is under review by TMR to change in the future
